Karbonalpha's 5th anniversary: two days in Marseille to bring together the sovereign private-wealth ecosystem
On June 30 and July 1, 2026, Karbonalpha brings together in Marseille the partners and advisers who have accompanied its journey — and celebrates five years of a bet held true: building the only fully sovereign SaaS platform in private wealth management, without selling out.
On June 30 and July 1, 2026, Karbonalpha gathers in Marseille the partners and advisers who have accompanied its journey. In a market locked for more than thirty years by a single player and a long series of acquisitions of weakened competitors, the Aix-based FinTech made the opposite bet: to exist without selling out, to break the technological barrier to entry, and to offer today the only fully sovereign SaaS services platform in private wealth management. An anniversary that also marks a first: the moment when, at long last, the earliest partners and all those who have since taken the measure of its technological efforts and its trajectory finally meet, gathered in the same place.
A founding bet
At its creation in 2021, the founders’ diagnosis was twofold. First, a market for wealth software dominated since the late 1980s by an almost all-powerful player, which consolidated the sector by absorbing its weakened competitors one after another, entrenching a growing dependence of IFAs on a single publisher, itself now under the control of an investment fund. Second, advisers forced to use fragmented tools, rarely designed for their profession, and dependent on infrastructures whose control eluded them: scattered data, compliance endured rather than chosen, technologies often operated outside France or Europe. Karbonalpha was born of a choice: to build the missing infrastructure, and to build it sovereign — proprietary code, data hosted and operated in France, compliance designed from the outset as a backbone.
Five years on, the bet has held. Where most young publishers ended up absorbed for lack of the means to cross the technological barrier — data security, permanent regulatory compliance, aggregation, hosting — Karbonalpha crossed it without weakening itself: self-funded growth, no dilution, controlled capital. The barrier the sector believed impassable without an acquisition has been broken. Sovereignty was not added after the fact: it is Souverain par Architecture.
An exception on the market
Karbonalpha is today the only fully sovereign SaaS services platform in the private-wealth market: designed, developed, hosted and operated in France, with no dependence on a non-European cloud or AI model. Where others aggregated a portfolio of tools through successive acquisitions, or chose to assemble foreign technological building blocks (AWS, Azure, Google) for convenience and a faster return on investment, Karbonalpha made the demanding choice of a native unified architecture: client data, aggregation, compliance and steering in a single system, audit-ready on a continuous basis. An independence that also answers the resilience and business-continuity challenges that have become critical for the profession.
The market promised us two outcomes: to stay marginal, or to sell out as soon as we became interesting. We refused both, and crossed the technological barrier by our own means, remaining independent and sovereign. Today, we are ready to amplify our deployments and consolidate our foundations: we are opening up to convertible-bond financing, a first step ahead of a controlled capital opening envisaged in 2027. For the first time, we bring together in the same place those who believed in us from the start and those who joined us along the way: insurers, asset managers, real-estate players, private banks, network heads. It is their trust that we are celebrating.

Two days in Marseille
From the Vieux-Port and the Calanques to Fort Ganteaume, the event combines moments of sharing, sailing and an anniversary evening. The choice of Marseille is no accident: it speaks to the attachment of a company that has proved you can build a national-level infrastructure, and win over a Parisian market, while remaining rooted in the regions. Karbonalpha employs 25 people, more than half of them in the PACA region, and claims a proudly assumed anchoring in Aix-Marseille: proof that a regional territory can bring forth a reference sovereign FinTech.
An ecosystem of prestigious partners
Karbonalpha’s trajectory is inseparable from that of the partners who accompany it: insurers and life-insurance platforms, financial and real-estate asset managers, private banks, structurers, network heads and professional federations. For the first time, the event brings together side by side those who bet on Karbonalpha from its earliest days and those who have since taken the measure of its technological efforts and its trajectory. They will be present in Marseille for these two days:
- UAF Life Patrimoine
- Allianz Global Investors
- ODDO BHF
- BIL (France)
- WEALINS
- REMAKE
- WealthPlanner
- SOGENIAL Immobilier
- EQUITIM
- AEW Patrimoine
- Blanche Capital
- MyMarguerit (Élevage et Patrimoine)
- CNCEF
