Substance over effect
We don't try to impress. We try to structure. Real value lies in coherence, not in demonstration.
Not another layer. Not an assembly of tools. An infrastructure designed so that private wealth management professionals can operate with mastery, in an environment that holds over time.
Fragile not because professionals lack skill or technology, but because the systems their activity depends on have been built layer by layer. With each regulatory change, each product innovation, each new client requirement, another brick has been added.
Over time, the environment has become functional — but fragmented. You can work. You can produce. You can advise. But you do so within a system that has never been truly unified.
Data flows between tools. Compliance is applied at the edges. The audit trail depends on human discipline more than on the architecture itself.
Karbonalpha was born out of a refusal of this assembly logic.
Rather than adding another layer to an already fragmented environment, we chose to build the foundation.
Karbonalpha organises data from its origin. It structures regulatory journeys end to end. It embeds compliance at the core of the system, not at its edges. It makes every decision understandable and justifiable, every action traceable, every file legible over time.
Our clients don't choose Karbonalpha for the effect of an isolated feature. They choose it because it secures their entire activity and establishes a coherent framework where their decisions can hold over time — and withstand both regulatory changes and technological shifts.
We don't try to impress. We try to structure. Real value lies in coherence, not in demonstration.
Karbonalpha was founded by private wealth management practitioners. We know the constraints of the field because we have lived them. This proximity to the profession is irreplaceable.
The technology we develop — including ALIX, our AI assistant — is designed to support the professional, never to replace them. Decision-making, mastery and responsibility remain human.
Hosting in France, proprietary architecture, data controlled at every level. Sovereignty is not a sales pitch here — it is a consequence of how we build.
Three complementary backgrounds. One shared conviction: private wealth management deserves better than stacked tools. Karbonalpha was founded in Aix-en-Provence in 2021, with the ambition to build the infrastructure the industry was waiting for.
Xavier Babaud-Dulac worked as a wealth management advisor for more than twenty-five years, building a sharp understanding of the realities on the ground: regulatory, relational, operational. That first-hand experience is the origin of Karbonalpha — the observation that no existing tool allowed wealth management advisors to operate their entire activity within a truly unified environment.
A graduate of a university degree in private wealth management, he combines a deep understanding of the profession with a strategic view of the opportunities offered by technology. He speaks regularly at industry conferences — Sommet du Patrimoine & de la Performance, Grand Forum du Patrimoine — and shares his expertise with the next generation of advisors, notably at ISG Paris.
As President, he leads Karbonalpha's overall strategy and carries the company's founding conviction: build structure that lasts, rather than add another layer.
An entrepreneur and engineer driven by technological innovation, Olivier Baeyaert has been the steward of Karbonalpha's technical architecture since day one. His expertise in software systems and his preference for proprietary, scalable and sovereign solutions have directly shaped the platform's structural choices.
Convinced that the quality of an infrastructure is measured by its ability to endure, he chose to build Karbonalpha on fully owned foundations: no third-party API assembly for the core functions, a native, scalable architecture compliant with the highest security standards. Under his technical leadership, data audit trail and sovereign hosting were integrated from the start — not bolted on afterwards.
As CTO, he oversees all product development, the evolution of the architecture and the company's strategic technology partnerships.
With more than twenty years of experience in banking and finance — including at Banque Populaire du Sud, Banque Populaire Méditerranée and ES Investissements — Jérôme Gorce has built a deep mastery of the commercial and relational challenges specific to private wealth management.
Trained at the Institut Technique Bancaire (CFPB, Toulouse), he brings to Karbonalpha a precise understanding of what industry professionals expect, whether independent wealth management advisors, networks or institutional players. A former high-level sailing athlete, he is recognised for his rigour, his ability to support teams over the long term and his commitment to building solid professional relationships.
As Managing Director Sales, he leads Karbonalpha's commercial development, structures strategic partnerships and supports organisations in their adoption of the platform.
Leadership, aggregation, business development: three roles, one shared conviction. Each shares their journey, daily mission, and what makes Karbonalpha distinct.
Since 2023, Karbonalpha has been regularly recognised by leading bodies of private wealth management in France and Europe. These distinctions — earned through the vote of thousands of industry professionals or expert juries — validate the coherence and solidity of an infrastructure built to last.

In private wealth management, the question of sovereignty cannot be treated as a simple technological positioning. It is tied to very concrete requirements: controlling data, justifying decisions, demonstrating the compliance of processes over time.
At Karbonalpha, sovereignty stems from the way the infrastructure is designed — and from the culture of exigence that accompanies its development. When data is structured from its origin, when information flows are controlled, and when the audit trail is built into the very operation of the system, sovereignty becomes a natural property of the architecture.
It meets both the regulatory expectations of the industry and an internal requirement: to guarantee professionals a working environment where data, decisions and processes remain under control over time.
Whether you are a professional looking for a structuring environment, a network seeking to deploy a common reference framework, or an organisation searching for a sovereign infrastructure, our teams are available to discuss it.
